SUNDAY SIPPINGS: ORGANIC MINT FIELDS

Happy Easter! I mentioned before that I don’t really celebrate Easter but I do love the idea of celebrating renewal and rebirth, which is what Easter really represents, right? This Sunday I’m sipping on The Republic of Tea‘s Organic Mint Fields. It’s a refreshing blend of spearmint, peppermint and lemon balm and it’s perfect for Easter! The best part is that all of the ingredients are 100% organic.

For some reason mint exudes spring vibes for me. It feels so clean and fresh, which is totally spring to me. I know it’s typically used in summer recipes but who says there’s something wrong with mint in the spring? Imagine running into organic mint fields in the spring, lovely, right? There’s so many uses for mint, it really is an essential herb. Not only for meals but also for medicine, hygiene, ambiance. Mint really is kind of a big deal.

Prior to this blend, I had never tried anything from Republic of Tea so I wasn’t super familiar with them. I think I chose a great blend for my first try and they definitely didn’t disappoint! I’m excited to try their blueberry lavender tea blend next, it contains butterfly pea flower, blueberry, hibiscus, rose hip, bamboo and schizandra berry. Bamboo contains collagen and schizandra berry is an adaptogen that has been used to protect the skin for thousands of years. It sounds so good!

Do you celebrate Easter? If so, what are you sipping on today?
