SUNDAY SIPPINGS: FOUNDER’S

Happy Sunday! The weather is definitely beginning to feel like summer. In my opinion, summer is bittersweet. While I’m not a huge fan of the humidity New England summers bring, there’s nothing better than the energy it seems to have. People seem to feel alive, and everyone wants to have fun, who can be mad about that? The summers are a great time for our coffee shop. We get a ton of visitors from out of town and we absolutely love it! Appropriately so, iced coffee and cold brew are definitely our most popular items during this season. Today I’m sipping on Founder’s Blend by Stumptown Coffee Roasters. Iced, of course!

Founder’s Blend is a lovely way to start the day. It is smooth enough to drink throughout the entire day and I take full advantage. I absolutely love Stumptown! One of my favorite things about them is that all of their products are organic and responsibly sourced, which is very important to me. They also pay attention to their carbon footprint, and focus on creating a sincere contribution to the environment. If only more coffee roasters had these ethics!

Is it dessert, or is it coffee?

Maybe its both! Founder’s contains notes of vanilla and cocoa, which give the ultimate sunny dessert vibes. It is sourced from the very best beans from Guatemala, Nicaragua, Peru, Colombia, and Mexico. So, if you’ve been dreaming of a sunny vacation in Mexico, start here. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses!

No matter how it’s served, it’s amazing! In the summer, my personal favorite is to serve coffee over ice. One of my favorite things about summer is iced drinks. Is it just me or do iced drinks feel like dessert? No cream is necessary since this blend is already naturally creamy.

There is no surprise that this company has been around for so long. They are wonderful. They’re always consistent and every blend I’ve tried has been outstanding. I couldn’t recommend them more! They are tried and true, and the whole internet seems to agree.
