HOW TO MAKE TEA INFUSED VODKA

I love a good drink recipe, especially a drink that is loaded with immune boosting properties. This Infused vodka recipe is super easy, it adds a unique taste to vodka and makes for very interesting cocktails.

We have been infusing herbs in alcohol for thousands of years. It’s a great way to consume the medicinal benefits of the herbs used.

Personally, I prefer vodka for my infusions, but any liquor will work. Make sure it’s at least 80-proof.

If you don’t imbibe, you can substitute vegetable oils (olive oil, grapeseed oil, avocado oil. etc.) or vinegar in place of liquor.

Now what about this Chaga?

Chaga is a fungi that grows primarily on birch trees. It has awesome medicinal benefits that you should really look into. It’s pure magic! Chaga chai is a blend of herbal (decaffeinated) chai tea packed with the benefits of chaga mushroom and other medicinal herbs. It has an exotic flavor that leaves you mesmerized.

Any tea can be used in place of chaga. Experiment and find your favorite.

This recipe only takes a few minutes to prepare. You’ll want to let the tea infuse for some time, 3-5 days is best. You can infuse longer if you prefer a stronger taste, taste as you go until you’ve achieved your desired taste. Keep out of the direct sunlight, it’s best to keep in a cool, dark cupboard or cabinet to ensure its quality. Gently shake the jar every day during the infusion. Give it some love and don’t forget about it.

Once your infusion is good and done, remove the tea bags.

There are tons of tons of things you can do with tea infused vodka, for example:

  • Tincture (straight up from the jar)
  • Cocktail recipes
  • Salad dressing
